Don Camillo in Willingen

It is a special restaurant, as it is located in a former church. The ambience and warm atmosphere alone is worth a visit! Crowned by the good food and the hospitality at all times, this lactation gets 5 stars.

Imposing restoration. Schnitzel taste excellent and delicate. Recommended to us by the local hotel industry, as the kitchen was not yet open there.

Amazingly beautiful

Really tasty. The children ate an adult portion. The sauces were perfect! The salad was fresh and the salad dressing was amazing. Super perfect! The staff friendly and competent. The music 🎶 was totally unsuitable for the food. Maybe something can be done about it.

The food is great and the ambience is unique because you can eat in a converted old church. There is also a new building that invites you to eat. The staff is also very courteous. We will be back definitely.

It was our first time there. The food was very tasty (Wiener schnitzel and a baked potato) 😋 Extra requests were perfectly implemented 😄 The staff was also very friendly ☺️ Unfortunately, there were a few flies at our table on a hot summer day, that was a bit annoying, otherwise it would have been five stars 😉

Nice setting in a former church. Neat, clean and not expensive, but a very boring and limited menu. So if you just want to eat something then it's fine but don't expect a high-quality kitchen. Outside on the terrace of 3 tables there was a pungent smell of exhaust. The staff are really nice.

Don Camillo Had dinner here on September 5th 2020. Although we had reserved by email, we were unfortunately not counted on. But after a bit of scrolling in the reservation book still got a place. It is located in an old church building with various details of the former church incorporated into the restaurant. We sat on the balcony with a view of the guests below us. Great place. Charming and smooth service. We ordered a prime rib with pepper sauce and baked potatoes. And a trio pan with piece of chicken, steak and piece of pork tenderloin with fried potatoes. The whole accompanied by a bowl of salad each. As a surprise the house gave us a small glass of lentil soup as an appetizer. The prime rib was fine. Against this, the pan was prepared with too much fat. (unfortunately) meat was fine. Good food in a cozy atmosphere and professional and friendly staff. Costs including 1 white wine and spa blue € 61.10

A converted church that invites you to linger as a restaurant and cafe. Funny interior deco and the waffles with cherry cream and ice cream are highly recommended. Definitely make a visit there. Parking spaces in front of the door. Friendly and fast service.

The salad with side meat was great and tasted particularly good with the fruit side dishes. Delicious! The schnitzel with the fresh mushrooms was excellent. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The visit is definitely worth it.

It was amazing. Nice service, great ambience. At first I thought the portion was a bit poor, but the schnitzel was still on a third of the fried potatoes. Price / performance absolutely strong! And really super, super, super delicious. Would go back anytime

This used to be a church but has now been converted into a restaurant. Very nicely decorated. Old parts of the church are still visible.

Very cozy and attractive place and very good ambience. The facility already has something. Friendly staff. Food a bit expensive. Drinks in the price normal.

Staff not terribly friendly. Reservations a MUST or you’ll be seated in the SMOKING SECTION (1973?).

We were invited to this restaurant by our friends. We enjoyed delicious, authentic food at a remarkable place. You won't regret your dinner at Don Camillo.

Small serves. Gorgonzola pasta was very nice but very small. Nice waitress.

Great German food in a restaurant located in a renovated church. Best meal in town served by a friendly staff. English descriptions on the menu. Located a street away from the Main Street. Has a separate indoor area in the restaurant for smokers (?!). Nice and funny decor. Really good food and great value.

The food was fantastic! Service was great and friendly too.

Came across this little church converted into a restaurant with German style cuisine. We sat up on the second floor balcony looking down at the pulpit and huge chandelier. The staff was friendly and the portions were hefty. All in all a nice experience.

The place is located in an old church,which gives a nice ambiance. The food is good. It is crowded on the high season (when there's enough snow to ski), so reservations are recommended I guess. Or just try your luck.

Atmospheric restaurant/coffee bar. Excellent staff, superb flavours in the food and very reasonable prices. Will be visiting again.
